Continuing Education is the Key to Our Practice

No matter how much experience he gains, Dr. Tony Barriere is committed to never stop learning. In 2021, he completed more than 300 hours of continuing education, and he intends to keep on that track in the future. Most recently, he has trained with the Yomi® robot, which assists in performing dental implant surgery. In addition to his commitment to continuing education, he maintains memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Adopting Advancements in Technology

At West LA Implants, we are committed to providing the leading edge of dental technology. Whether it’s nanoceramic immediate load solutions for dental implant surgery or diode lasers for periodontal work, we believe that advanced technology makes the difference in your care. Some of the technology you can expect to see at our Los Angeles dental implant clinic include:

1

Chrome-guided dental implant surgery

3D printed chrome guides enhance Dr. Barriere’s efficiency as he performs implant surgery and greatly improve your chances of success.

2

All-on-4® dental implants

All-on-4 dental implants are a great way to replace all of your missing teeth, with greater strength and a more natural feel than dentures.

3

TeethToday®

TeethToday technology allows you to walk away from your dental implant surgery with a set of strong, natural-looking nanoceramic teeth, rather than wearing dentures for the next several months. These are available for any size dental implant, whether you’re getting one tooth replaced or all of them.

4

Yomi Dental Robotic System

The Yomi robotic surgical assistant aids Dr. Barriere in performing dental implant surgeries. This means you spend less time in the chair and have a much greater chance of success.

5

NDX® nSequence dental lab

West LA Implants uses the NDX nSequence lab to create dental prosthetics and surgical guides. This ensures precisely built, custom solutions for your dental needs, from implants to crowns.

6

3D printer

Whether you’re looking for a crown or bridge or something more intensive, we can create it using our 3D printer. This means faster turnaround times and fewer visits to the office.

7

Diode laser

We use a diode laser for a variety of periodontic procedures, including laser gum surgery, scaling and root planing, and gum contouring. This reduces your healing time and dramatically lowers your chances of infection.

8

Intraoral cameras

Early detection is the key to preventing health issues down the line, and our intraoral cameras allow for precise imaging of the inside of your mouth. This can help find and treat issues such as periodontal infection and even oral cancer before they become major problems.

9

Intraoral scanners

Our intraoral scanners allow us to take precise maps of your teeth, making crowns and bridges much easier to get. You don’t need to worry about taking messy impressions; a few seconds with our scanner wand will give us all the information we need to create your restoration.

10

Smile simulation technology

Smile simulation lets us show you what your teeth will look like after procedures are completed. Whether you’re in the market for dental implants, veneers or Lumineers®, or orthodontic treatments such as Invisalign®, you can see what your “After” will look like before you even begin!

11

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner

The CBCT scanner allows us to take detailed images of your mouth and jaw in just seconds, with a minimum dose of radiation. You don’t even need to worry about bite plates or film in your mouth.
